Whether we like it or not, how we play bingo is evolving. The once smoke-filled halls have come and gone and now, we face a new generation of the bingo daubing game and not everyone is a fan. First there was Bongo’s Bingo and now there’s UKG Bingo – but unless you’re a party goer who someone who loves to dance the night away, you’ll not be interested.
UKG Bingo is one for the garage music lovers and if you’re a resident of London, you can grab exclusive tickets to the event for just £7 instead of the usual £11. But what is it? The write-up is very detailed and reveals that this type of bingo is not one for you granny and her mates ate the retirement home (cheeky), it’s a new bingo game filled to the brim with booze and bingo.
Make Mine a Double No:
In a recent studied carried out across the globe, it was revealed approximately 100 million people play bingo worldwide and of which, 80% were players aged between 30 and 50, which means more and more young people are trying their lucky with the numbers game, but how many of these would choose a night in playing mobile bingo over grinding away in some dark, dungy basement? Who knows?
Variety is the spice of life, but change is not necessarily a good thing. From my perspective, bingo and nightclubs are two very separate entities; if you want to party go to a disco, if you want to play bingo, go to your local bingo hall or log in and play online!
According to Timeout London (a publication on what to do in and around the capital), UKG Bingo is where the party’s really at with live DJ’s performing to the crowds each night and you’re guaranteed an evening of fun with a garage MC banging out the ‘slammers.’ Can you imagine how the ‘MC’ will call out the numbers? Strange indeed, and what about the prizes? Well there’s no cash, but if you’re a true garage fan, you’ll be tickled pink with the garage-themed prizes on offer. Interactive games (including casino games) are also offered and free entry into the Duo nightclub after the bingo session ends.
What You Need to Know:
UKG Bingo commences each Friday between October 4th and 29th November. Friday 11th there will be no session. Early bird ticket prices start at £7 which is a steal for any London nightclub. Doors open at 6:30pm but the party will commence into the wee small hours. Once ticket is one entry on the stated day. You’ll need to bring your own pen and you’re required to show your ticket on arrival.
Can you believe there’s a dress code? Smart casual or you’ll find yourself on your way home from the best bingo event. Fancy a shot at UKG Bingo? You’ll need the address: 20 Inverness St, Camden Town, London, NW1 7HJ.
