Her hand carresses the mouse and with a firm tap she is the wonderful world of bingo! She heads straight to Nickel Nuthouse. This is a 75 ball room with prizes averaging $50.00 big ones a game.
I love the first pattern….slot! A slot machine with a handle is what is up for grabs to bingo on. I am far from alone tonite with 92 players to compete against. No chat moderator here and the room is going wild with chatter!
I purchase 30 cards and am fixed on each and every number called. As it draws closer I need but one number on 3 cards. The pot is a sweet $64.00. So close……but yet so far. 3 roomies yell bingo and share the pot. About 3 rounds in I need to capture the sun pattern. This time 2 cards turn a brilliant yellow….representing one number left on each. So bright so cheery I am almost inclined to put on my shades! This pot is worth $60.72 and I need it bad! Down to just a mere $5.50 my heart would flutter to yell bingoooooooooo! ……….no flutters, no fireworks, no ecstasy here or the next games.
She gets up and heads for the door…..he offers her a martini before she leaves. She keeps walking and never looks back. Standing on the corner she leans against the building and she waits.
