Playtech has expanded its online bingo offering with the launch of a new Live Bingo Stream that introduces real-time interaction and additional entertainment into its bingo rooms. The new format centers on Dab & Blab Live, a live feature that combines traditional bingo gameplay with interactive elements designed to give players a shared experience during each session.
Dab & Blab Live adds live chats alongside bingo games, while its programming also incorporates mini-games and quizzes. The format includes themed entertainment and prizes as part of the live presentation. Playtech developed the proposition to bring more direct interaction between players into an online bingo environment.
The company has made the offering available through a shared Playtech Network Stream. Operators connected to Playtech’s UK and .COM bingo network can use the stream to provide the live format to their players. Playtech described the setup as scalable, allowing participating operators across its network to access the same entertainment proposition.
Live Programming Reaches Multiple Bingo Rooms
Players can access the Live Bingo Stream through multiple Playtech Bingo rooms. The format integrates the bingo game with a live entertainment layer, allowing participants to follow additional content while they play and communicate through the available chat features.
The company designed Dab & Blab Live so individual shows can vary rather than follow an identical presentation during every session. The combination of live interaction and changing entertainment content gives Playtech a way to add a more social component to its existing online bingo rooms.
Bingo has traditionally included interaction between players as part of its appeal, and Playtech is carrying that element into its digital product through live programming. The company is using the stream to connect the gameplay taking place in its bingo rooms with presenter-led and interactive content delivered in real time.
The shared network structure also means Playtech can distribute the proposition across operators already using its bingo network instead of limiting Dab & Blab Live to one individual bingo room or operator environment.
Playtech Focuses on Shared Player Interaction

The company also sees the Live Bingo Stream as part of its wider approach to online bingo. Through the network-based model, Playtech can make the live programming available across several bingo rooms while operators gain access to the format through the existing UK and .COM network.
Dab & Blab Live Leads the New Stream
Dab & Blab Live serves as the main feature within the newly launched stream. During sessions, players can take part in bingo while following live chats and other interactive activities included in the show.
The addition of themed programming and prizes broadens the content available during a bingo session, while the live format allows each show to change according to the entertainment being presented. Playtech said the result creates a shared environment for players taking part at the same time.
With the launch, Playtech has added a real-time entertainment component across its online bingo network and given participating operators another format that they can make available through existing Playtech Bingo rooms.
