NYX Interactive AB acquires the Bingo network operator
The Swedish online gambling software provider NYX Interactive has acquired 100 percent of the shares of the Isle of Man based bingo network operator Cashball Limited from Bonnier Lottery.
Cashball Ltd is one of the newest and the most innovative network operators of gaming services and delivery of digital gaming operations, and has a number of operator clients in Spain, Sweden and the UK.
Staffan Lindgren, CEO at NYX Interactive, said that the acquisition enables NYX to create greater benefits and value for its customers in their gaming operations.
“Furthermore, we are moving to a new level, where we will be able to deliver customer projects and value added services more rapidly than ever,” he said.
Lindgren said that the NYX Rapid Platform is one of the truly open systems in the market and will allow the software company and its customers to integrate best of breed gaming products from third party suppliers.
“The next generation of operators cannot afford to be locked into inflexible and proprietary systems with restrictions that prohibit rapid adaptation and increased entertainment value,” he opined.
“The Cashball services and the NYX Rapid Platform together create a framework for operators to be proactive against the rapidly changing market and add content that they know their players want." Lindgren added. “Bonnier Lottery sees the value in this approach and will continue be a close partner to Cashball and NYX Interactive. Their focus will remain on the parts of the business that are closer to Bonniers core values such as distribution, marketing channels, content and brands.”
