When I was a little girl I always fantasized about going to Emerald City in Wizard of Oz. Following the yellow brick road to the gates of a mystical green world. Today I clicked my ruby red slippers three times and said there’s no place like Emerald Bingo….no place like Emerald Bingo!! By the third click of my shoes….er uh mouse, I was thru the gates of bingo!!!
After validating my email after registration I ran straight to The Emerald Lounge with my $10 bb’s! I played 20 cards at .25 cents a piece. I love the bingo caller in here. When announcing the next number….a charming british accent makes a rhythm to the numbers called. I was easily intrigued as to how he was going to rhythm the next number.
On my first round of cards I needed one number to bingo “get up and run 31”! I was ready to run if I hit that bingo for a $30 jackpot. The pattern stayed the same in each new game. A full house pattern with a added kicker. Catch yourself one line and get $10…….catch yourself 2 lines and another $10 is yours! That gave me three chances to win!!!
Since I was reminiscing about my childhood I was really anxious to play the Cash and Candy slot! It reminded me of the Candy Land board game I use to play!! I really needed to bingo first though. The minimum bet was $3 for this slot machine. With such sinful goodies as chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate cake and a box of chocolates on the reels!
Why oh why didn’t I click my heels three times for a B-I-N-G-O!!! Oh well next time…….for now I think I will pop in my favorite classic and watch Dorothy chant…..”there’s no place like home” To play bingo that is!!!
