A novelty came this week from the French National lottery operator Francaise Des Jeux (FDJ), in shape of their new Regulatory and European Affairs Director Patrick Raude (45), who will from now on engage on the preparation of the FDJ's position on issues of National and European regulation, but also monitor relationships with supervising authorities and ensure compliance of business practices.
Prior to this new position, Raude worked for the European Commission, after which he moved to the French Ministry of Industry, the Budget Department in the Ministry of Finance, and also the position of adviser to the French Prime Minister on media, film and telecommunications issues. In addition to this, he also served as a member of Electronic Communications Regulatory Authority.
