The aim is to change one person's life, each week, for a total of 52 weeks; that's every week for one year. Each week, global donations charity, 52 Lives, will be posting a story detailing the life of someone in need, via their website, and other social media outlets. Together, Gala and 2 lives hope to raise a whopping £52,000 to go toward bettering the lives of others.
For those who wish to know how they can participate, the site will be hosting two linked games each week, during which 100% of the profits will go toward the charity. Games will take place every Sunday night at 9pm, 10pm, and 11pm. Tickets cost 25p a piece, and there is a fixed prize payout of £150.
Members will also have the opportunity to nominate someone they feel is in need of help. One nominated individual will receive help each month.
