GTech to replace current system with its Enterprise Series solution
Lottomatica Group S.p.A this week reported of a deal closed between its branch, GTECH Global Services Corporation and a French national lottery operator, La Francaise Des Jeux for a period of 12 years. GTECH has previously provided FDJ with lottery products and services since 2000.
Based on the agreement details, GTECH will implement its Enterprise Series solution to replace the existing system, providing also support services, such as central system support and maintenance. The venture should go live in 2010.
Forecasts state that this venture will result in EUR23 million of revenue for GTECH. Commenting on this new development, GTECH President Jaymin B. Patel stated: "As FDJ continues to grow, it will have the tools necessary to support an increasing volume of transactions from multiple points-of-sale while maintaining the highest levels of security, service quality, and integrity.'
