30-Ball Bingo:
As the number of balls is just 30, this is the speediest bingo game and is often classified as speed bingo. The game is played on a 3x3 bingo card. You'll often see it played in Full House games or Coveralls. Cover all 9 numbers on your card first and win! 30-ball bingo is played very quickly so you either love it or hate it. It's perfect for players short on time or some of us with a short attention span.
75-Ball Bingo
This is one of the most common version of bingo and most popular in the US. This game is full of patterns. You play everything from Coveralls to hearts. Oh and did we mention that there are 75 balls?
Your bingo cards come in a 5x5 format with one letter B, I, N, G, and O over each column. This is also the only version of bingo that has a free space on the card.
80-Ball Bingo
There are, you guessed it, 80 balls. Games are played on a 4x4 bingo card totaling 16 numbers. It's the most colorful of all the games because each column is a different which makes marking off your numbers as they're called a bit simpler. The numbers appear in each column this way: first column is 1 to 20, the second column is 21 to 40, the third column in 41 to 60 and the fourth column in 61 to 80. Games can be played in patterns such as four corners, lines or Coveralls.
90-Ball Bingo:
This version is also hugely popular and the game of choice in the UK. The tickets are made up of three rows and nine columns and players are given three chances to win with the line, two lines and Full House. There are 90 balls and you'll sometimes hear fun rhymes to go along with the calls but many bingo halls have stopped using them.
No matter how many balls you prefer, there's a version of bingo to suite us all!
