14 UK-based online bingo sites on GTech G2's International Bingo Network have upgraded existing bingo and mini games with the new G2 Bingo 2.2 software release, and have moved to a newly expanded network to take advantage of pooled liquidity across major European markets.
The sites in the initial migration include popular UK bingo brands such as: Yahoo! Bingo, Littlewoods, Butlins and Chit Chat Bingo.
For British bingo players, the bigger network and linked game functionality mean bigger pots and jackpots as well as a full suite of mini games. For operators it means access to an entertaining product and considerable pooled international player liquidity.
The IPN has over 15 000 active daily players and pays out over Euro 20 million every month, according to a company spokesman. UK bingo sites currently represent about 30 percent of the network and migration of sites across six other European markets has now begun and is expected to be completed in the first quarter.
“European bingo markets are growing rapidly and GTech G2 now has the strongest footprint of any bingo operator in Europe,” said Alison Digges, group head of bingo and marketing. “We offer operators instant access to huge pooled European liquidity to enable them to deliver the best bingo solution, with heavily localised content, across all major European markets.”
The latest GTech G2 Bingo software includes multi currency and linked games across all bingo variants as well as a multi currency free bingo room throughout the day where players can play, chat and win cash.
There are also ten fully integrated mini games for players to use whilst playing bingo.
"Going forward, we plan to upgrade our product quarterly and introduce a whole host of exciting new features throughout this year and beyond to provide a better player experience and higher lifetime values.” said Digges.
GTech G2's bingo hub is in Gibraltar, where the bingo product team handles product development, bingo operations, marketing operations, customer and VIP support, and payment processing. The software is developed by GTech G2 subsidiary Boss Media in Sweden under the direction of the bingo product te
