The lucky bingo player won the life-changing sum of £50,000 by marking off all ten numbers on her ticket within 16 calls! Speaking on her win, she said: "I couldn’t continue playing, I was shaking, and I couldn’t speak properly."
Harriet Bee, the 28-year old from Taunton was enjoying her evening session of bingo in her local Mecca hall when she got the shock of a lifetime. Sitting with her parents, Harriet’s evening took an unexpected turn when she called house on the National Bingo Game, which meant not only did she receive the in-house prize for the 50-ball game, but she also netted fifty-thousands-pounds.

“I couldn’t believe my luck. I was so shocked. At first, I didn’t realise how much I had won, it was only because other customers started to whisper and then the excitement got louder and louder and then it was announced,” Harriet revealed.
After calling house, the bingo callers checked her ticket and her win was confirmed with a roaring cheer from the other players in the room.
"At first I felt shocked. I couldn’t continue playing, I was shaking, and I couldn’t speak properly. My dad had to call my partner and tell him. It’s such a life changing amount. It’s really going to help towards our wedding next year.”
The lucky mum of two is due to get wed next May and aims to spend the money on the wedding and maybe even a new house.
