An announcement came on Jan. 11 from Lottomatica's online arm GTECH G2 that it is to present a host of new products and technological developments at the coming ICE 2012.
The novelties that the company has in store for us include its first 3D game titled "Casino Job", which allows players to choose one of four realistic characters (including an Angeline Jolie lookalike) who will try to beat the time and crack a casino safe. It has also been announced that other new games are to be released throughout the year.
As for the technological innovations, GTECH G2 will present GMS Flightboard, a product which provides operators with the possibility to communicate and interact with players in real time, thus bringing a more personalized experience for players.
In addition, in 2012 GTECH G2 will focus on mobile gaming development, as it seeks to see 'more players constantly playing our games than ever before, wherever and whenever they chose to play.' With that aim in mind, the company has joined forces with its sister company SPIELO to facilitate seamless player experience with games such as Book of the Sphinx™, available on land-based gaming machines, online, on mobile devices, or on a tablet.
Also, there's the famous GTECH G2 sports betting offering, for which the company will debut an update to their STOS screen system at the ICE. The update will provide HD quality display and increased functionality, thus enhancing the experience.
And to attract more people to its stand at the ICE, GTECH G2 decided to start a tempting promo, G2 Goal Challenge, giving all show attendants the chance to win an iPad every day.
According to Walter Bugno, President and CEO of GTECH G2 and SPIELO International, “Everything that we are debuting at ICE shows our commitment to having more players playing our games than ever before.
“I am proud of the developments that we've made in the last twelve months, and I'm excited when I see what's in the pipeline for the year ahead. I look forward to everyone seeing our entire product suite -- and as a football fan, I hope to see them scoring a goal or two in our goal challenge. See you at stand 5260!”
