Like a rich jewel….
One of the most tragic love stories of all time has to be Romeo and Juliet. I was about 8 when I learned to appreciate not only romance but Shakespeare. There was one quote I carried with me “like a rich jewel in an Ethiope’s ear”. My sister would laugh at me as I would recite it through the house and in wonderment as to how that passage stuck with me.
I went into the .25 Soda Pop Café room at Instant Bingo and in a instant I saw the the bingo pattern “poison” and thought of beautiful Juliet. The Chat Moderator Wizzard was happy as lark and is one of my favorites there.
This was a Jackpot game worth $1,595.76 in 17 calls or less. Shakespeare once said “Fortune brings in some boats that are not steered”, I promised myself if I won i would definitely steer that kind of fortune right into my bank account!
Nobody won the jackpot and the consolation prize was $39.45 with all 22 players hoping to claim a bingo on. I had a feeling 17 calls would be a bit rough to accomplish to begin with.
I had 1TG on two cards I-24 and I-21 when a bingo was called after 33 numbers. I had $10.00 left in my account and played two more rounds of bingo and never came that close to win again.
