Live internet and i-TV bingo action

Atac Media clinches live streaming bingo deal with Sky television network

You've heard of live dealer action in the online casino sector streamed from land studios...now the bingo sector can offer the same facility through a UK company titled Atac Media.

The company's managing director, Paul Munro, announced this week that the Atac, which has over ten bingo sites on its client list, has just clinched a major deal that will take its products into interactive television as well as live streaming to internet bingo sites.

Atac will be broadcasting live streaming bingo cash games on Sky Channel 166 every night in terms of the agreement, which Munroe says represents "...a real opportunity in the soft gaming sector to highlight the entertainment factor and the convergence of the media."

Atac Media's live presenter bingo technology is licensed from Beast Gaming, which supplies the RNG, e-wallet and gaming platform licensed in Alderney. Beast offers bingo and side games and earlier this year signed a collaborative deal with Canadian bingo software provider Parlay Entertainment (see previous InfoPowa reports) to supply live presenter bingo in both 80 and 90 ball configurations to Parlay's 15 licensees.

Atac is a privately owned company specialising in innovative gaming solutions and based in Wembley, near London in Britain, where the live bingo streaming operations take place, supported by a call and administration centre.

Competition in the sector is heating up; last year NetPlayTV - parent company of Bingo.com - raised GBP12.8 million in new funding and signed a deal to provide Playtech with live bingo and other gaming products. Playtech will take live bingo, blackjack, roulette and a fixed odds draw from NetPlay TV under the five year licensing agreement.
