The study involving 50,000 UK Twitter users also revealed that the western part of the UK is a snore fest with the South Wales villages of Cwmbach and Whitland placing 2nd and 3rd in the study. Manchester and Ellesmere also made the list coming in 4th and 5th place.
Armed with this information, the casino has embarked on a mission to deliver excitement across the UK in the form of an online treasure hunt throughout the streets of Holmes Chapel. The Hunt for Happiness will send players around the town to locate 10 treasures hidden throughout the area with the use of Google Street View. Time is of the essence as players must find the locations of all ten treasures before the clock runs out. All participants will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win £500.
On the flip side of the research, the South East of the UK is where the fun happens. The Kent town of Medway is the most entertained and Thanet and Gillingham ranked 2nd and 3rd. Slough and Torbay take 4th and 5th place respectively.
