Best known for her role as Lindsey Corkhill in the Channel 4 soap Brookside, Claire Sweeney left the fictional street in Liverpool behind in 2003 to present 60-Minute Makeover, so who better for Mecca Bingo to team up with for their £20K home makeover campaign than Claire?

I’ve spent more time with my family, I know I’ve had a lot of time with my little boy, which has been fantastic.”
Claire continued: “Mecca Bingo is inviting you to nominate your unsung hero, whether it’ll be your best friend who works or volunteers for the NHS, or a neighbour who’s done your shopping for you, or just someone who stopped and chatted to you. It’s your chance to say thank you to who you think deserves it and you could win them a home makeover and some cash for yourself!”
Three Steps to Makeover Heaven
- Step One: You’ll need to fill in the form with your details and the details of the person you’re nominating.
- Step Two: Attach a 1-minute video of you nominating your friend or relative with details on why you think they should win and what it would mean to them if they won.
- Step Three: Submit your video and sit back and wait for the winner to be announced after closing on September 27th!

This will be an interesting one to follow. There have been so many ‘hero’s’ of late. Which will make the decision of picking out just one winner, an incredibly difficult one!
