The brand's parent company bgo has tasked the agency to create a celebrity-focused TV campaign for September, the publication Campaign reports.
“Costa has always been one of the leading bingo brands and with the appointment of MWO and the budget we are allocating to the brand campaign, we are confident that this will continue," says Alex Holt, the joint founder of bgo.
Costa Bingo spent GBP 1.5 million on advertising with previous agency VCCP Blue, but the company announces that total funds to be allocated for marketing this year will reach GBP 10 million, Nielsen stats show. MWO was appointed last year to handle its GBP 24 million advertising account of the bedroom furniture retailer Dreams.
At the same time, bgo launched a new mobile site, bgo mobile, supporting iPhone, iPad and Android devices and offering a wide range of games that include slots, casino table games roulette and blackjack and video poker titles.
Formerly known as Mandalay Media, the company launched its bgo online casino around six months ago boasting games from IGT, Sheriff Gaming, Microgaming and Net Entertainment.
