A Star-Studded Bingo Opening Ceremony
The UK’s largest independent bingo operator has successfully opened yet another bingo venue, this time in Wigan, taking them to 22 clubs and counting! Earlier this week, the Club 3000 Bingo in Robin Park was unveiled to the masses, thanks to the help of a well-known face – Mikey North, aka Gary Windass from Coronation Street. Cutting the ribbon on the new £2.3m venue, the building can welcome up to 1,400 bingo players with 1,000 free parking spaces.
Opening night attracted a crowd with the promise of it being a night to remember. And it was! Entertainment was provided throughout the night and at one point it even included a magician! If I were there, I’d have asked him to magic me up some winning tickets! Refreshments were also provided free of charge with chocolates, fizz and an engraved champagne glass going to each of the visitors on launch night.

I try to visit as many bingo clubs as I can, but only if they are within a 90-minute drive from me. Club3000 isn’t one of those so I’ll have to try them out online.
