27-year-old New York Long Island landscaper Marvin Rosales-Martinez was raking leaves a year or so back and noticed a “Win for Life” lottery ticket. He picked it up and dried out the damp ticket before verifying if it was a winner.
To his surprise the ticket was worth one million dollars.
Martinez was honest about finding the ticket and was required to wait for one year before receiving a payout in case the purchaser came forward.
