Playtech Ltd's Virtue Fusion and gaming and betting firm Nordic Gaming closed an online bingo licensing agreement, it was reported this week.
Based on the agreement, in Nordic Gaming Virtue Fusion will get its second major Scandinavian bingo licensee, whereas Nordic Gaming will be able to offer its players online bingo as an addition to its sportsbook, poker, casino and games offerings at NordicBet.com, Triobet.com and Tobet.com through Playtech's Virtue Fusion platform.
According to Nordic Gaming Head of Casino Ben Clemes: 'Launching bingo is something that we have been planning for a long time and we at Nordic Gaming are very confident that we have chosen the right partners to do this with in Playtech and its Virtue Fusion network.'
On the other side, Playtech CEO Mor Weizer said: 'It gives us great pleasure to announce this agreement with Nordic Gaming, an operator with impressive B2C marketing capabilities and a strong local profile. The deal expands Playtech's increasing portfolio of significant operators across Europe and to what is already a strong presence in the Scandinavian region.'
