Based on the five year agreement, which has the option for a one-year extension at the discretion of Norsk Tipping, the Norwegian lottery will launch its first set of i-gaming products exclusively for the Norwegian market.
Spielo G2 will provide Norsk Tipping with services across a range of channels including mobile and tablet action. The range of products involved in the deal comprises a Bingo product as well as SpieloG2's online casino portfolio that includes a range of slot games, and SpieloG2's Gaming Management System back office software and marketing services.
According to SpieloG2 president, Walter Bugno, "We want to ensure their steps into i-gaming are successful, adhering to the highest standards of responsible gaming and player protection. As the leading provider to the interactive lottery market working with lotteries such as Veikkaus in Finland, Austrian Lotteries, and Svenska Spel in Sweden, we believe we can offer Norsk Tipping the products and services they need to succeed in iGaming.”
On behalf of Norsk Tipping, Torbjoern Almlid, its CEO, said, “Our goal is to provide a justifiable and responsible online gaming offering to customers currently opting for foreign providers. This, in combination with being responsible and giving to good social causes, is not only an important step forward but imperative for Norsk Tipping's continued development.”
