I can’t remember when I joined Mecca, but it was many years ago now and imagine how stupid I felt today when I stumbled upon the ‘hidden’ prize draws; these same prize draws that I’ve been missing out on every month for all those years! So, how do they work? Prize draws operate on a play and opt-in basis. Every time you purchase a bingo ticket you earn what’s known as ‘play points’ and the more of these you have, the higher your ‘colourful’ play points level and no surprise; the higher your level, the more bonus points, treats and prize draws you can take part in.
Colourful Tiers to My Eyes:
Pink is the lowest level and you’ll earn 15 points per £1 spent. Double points occur on certain bingo games and the prize draw for this one in August was for Sony Extra Bass MDR Headphones. Earn 1000 points per month to reach the next tier; Orange.
Orange awards 16 points per £1 spent and just like Pink, you’ll earn double points on certain games. August saw one lucky winner bag a JBL Flip 3 Portable Bluetooth wireless speaker. A point balance of 3500 per month is required for the next level.
Green dishes out 17 points for every £1 spent and double points occur on certain bingo games. Codes will also be available for free bingo and in August, the prize for this tier was a Kindle Fire HD 8 with Alexa (32GB). A point tally of 10,000 is needed for Blue – the penultimate level.
Blue level awards 18 points per £1 spent. Triple points can be claimed on certain games and just like Green, you’ll be able to take advantage of exclusive free bingo games with the stated monthly code. On specific days players from this level will also earn bonus spins and deposit bonuses for popular slots; this month saw players take a spin on the reels of the vibrant Tiki Paradise slot.
