The 80’s was a fabulous era all the way around the board. We had Michael Jackson making his incredible debut doing the moon walk in that all too famous white glitter glove. Other hot artists included Prince, Madonna, Bon Jovi, Journey and Def Leppard. While Like a Virgin, Don’t Stop Believin and Livin’ on a Prayer were blaring on our cassette tapes the girls were busy teasing their big hair and so were the guys were brushing their long shag hairdos!
The fashion for gals was big hoop earrings, leg warmers, miniskirts, stretch pants with stirrups and let’s not forget shoulder pads. Guys dug those parachute pants, corduroys, turtle necks and acid wash jeans.
