It seems that things are good for Malta-based Yggdrasil Gaming Limited, which is waiting on the award of its Malta LGA licence before releasing nineteen of its instant RNG lottery games under its NUMB3R LOV3RS concept – this week, the media reported that it has signed its first licensee, PlayCherry Ltd, a part of the Cherry Group.
Expressing joy because of the first licensee, Fredrik Elmqvist, Yggdrasil Gaming chief executive officer said: “We are extremely pleased to provide Cherry with our brainchild, the instant RNG lottery games portfolio. With exciting games and very distinctive play, we believe that these will prove very popular with players and we are delighted that Cherry Group, now distinguished with 50 years in the business, is our first licensee.”
In addition, Marius Andersen, head of Cherry's online gaming division, explained the company's decision to go with Yggdrasil, saying: “Cherry has ambitious growth plans for the online business even more since the offload of the maritime business at the back-end of last year.
“This new Lottery partnership is an extension of the successful online Casino business and will be a great asset to us moving forward. We are always looking for new, innovative partners who can provide us with games in order to increase acquisition and retention, boost traffic and sales, and Yggdrasil's products are perfect for Cherry Online.”
