A new social bingo game was rolled out this week by social gaming giant Zynga. Beta version of the game is a part of its new casino-style suite of games that includes Zynga Poker as well.
Similar to traditional online bingo, Zynga Bingo can be played on Facebook in real-time, and comes complete with themed virtual bingo rooms that include Vegas Lights, FarmVille Bounty, Pirates Paradise and more. Each game allows players to compete using up to six bingo cards at once with the aim to earn tickets and coins that unlock hidden rooms.
Following beta testing, scheduled over the next few weeks, the game will be launched to the millions of company of users.
"Right now, we're only letting a limited number of people into the game to make sure our players are getting a primo, Zynga Bingo experience, before officially open the floodgates," a Zynga statement said.
At the moment, Zynga is involved in a copy cat controversy surrounding its latest iOS game "Dream Heights" which, according to industry players, bears a striking resemblance to "Tiny Tower", a game developed by NimbleBit game studio.
