Stakeback – Tombola
In 2020 Tombola introduced a brand-new and exclusive online bingo game to its website – Hex - and it was instantly labelled as ‘hexceptional’ by the bingo community. Hex Bingo is an exclusive game with an equal chance to win feature, two multi-level jackpots and a 1 in 5 chance to win your stake back in every game! As a 30-ball mobile bingo variant, it features extraordinary crisp clean graphics, immersive sound effects and the chance to win jackpots of up to £20K from 10p. Tombola changed the name of Hex to Stakeback in July 2022. Graphics and gameplay remain the same.
How Do You Play Stakeback?
Games run every 2-minutes around the clock in one chat room – Tri. Here you’ll find chat games springing up sporadically with the chance to win £2 in bonuses (per day). Any bonuses won from chat games and quizzes will carry no wagering requirements. Every game offers a full house prize and two multi-level jackpots. The aim of the game is to eliminate all ten of your numbered tiles (from 1 to 30) before anyone else. Tickets range from 10p to £2 with just 1 ‘ticket’ (featuring 10 numbers) per game.
To purchase into the next game, players simply need to choose their preferred stake option of either 10p, 25p, 50p, £1 or £2.
All games are equal chance meaning all players have one ‘ticket’ with 10 numbered tiles per game. Before confirming your stake, select the colour you think the final numbered tile will be from the colour options below the stake options. You may choose blue, purple, red, orange or green. Press to buy and confirm. Your stake will be deducted from your bankroll and your ‘ticket’ will be in play when the countdown timer reaches zero.
Numbers will be called at random and stacked to the centre of the screen. If you have any numbers matching those that are called, they are automatically removed.
When the ‘full house’ is won (all ten numbers eliminated), the winner(s) will be credited with their winnings automatically and the winning tile will determine who gets their original stake back. For example, if purple was selected prior to the game commencing and purple was the winning tile, the player gets their stake back. If the full house winner’s winning tile colour is also purple, they too get their stake back.
Stakeback Stakes and Jackpot Prize Tiers:
- Playing 10p stakes will cost 10p per game and delivers jackpots of £100 and £1K.
- Stakes of 25p will cost 25p per game with jackpots of £250 and £2,500.
- Tickets of 50p cost just that – 5p per play. This stake level carries jackpots of £500 and £5K.
- A ticket costing £1 offers jackpots of £1K and £10K.
- The maximum ticket price is £2 per play and this bet level offers the biggest full house prize plus jackpots of £2K and £20K.
How Do You Win a Stakeback Jackpot?
Each stake level has two jackpots. To win the largest of both sums, a player must eliminate all 10 numbers off their ticket within 12 calls. The second jackpot is awarded on a full house win in 14 calls or less. For example, with a 50p ticket (purple stake back) and the full house within 14 numbers, £500 is won on top of the full house winnings and stake back prize. If the full house had been called in 12 numbers (or less), that jackpot would have been £5K.
Jackpots are never shared at Tombola. If more than one person calls to win a jackpot, the full house will be split equally but all winners will receive the full jackpot amount each – no exceptions.
