Regular LBB’ers will already know there’s a new way to win online – Mecca Bingo raffles, and each week, a new set of prizes are plucked from an ocean of treasure to bring even more thrills than ever before. Last week it was dining out vouchers, Amazon kindles, £1K in cash and a luxury hot tub and if you didn’t win the top prize, there were as many as 20 runners up nabbing bingo bonus funds! If you’ve been brought up to speed already, there may be a feature about the new raffles you don’t already know, so I aim to let you in on that little secret right here.

To enter the draws, you can either buy the minimum entry requirements online via your bingo account, or you can enter for free by sending a postcard to the special raffle address. Each unenclosed postcard must be clearly marked with the draw you wish to enter, the date in which it ends, your details (that match your online Mecca account) as well as the address: Mecca Bingo Raffle, PO Box 5002, Alton, Hants GU34 9BZ. If they can’t verify who the sender is according to the bingo database, the postcard gets thrown in the bin, so be vigilant when sending!

There’s nothing worse for someone like me who loves to enter prize draws and competitions, to be kept in the dark over winners, like why not just release a winner’s list and put us all out of our misery? Well, that’s what they’ve done! Under the raffle tab is now an entry labelled ‘raffle history’ and this enables Mecca Bingo players to track previous raffle entries, as well as the number on your ticket(s), the winning number(s) and whether you won or not.

I haven’t had much luck on the raffles, but I won a phenomenal sum of £780 the other night, so I was super chuffed with that! It only cost me 10p!
