National Bingo Day is back for its fourth consecutive year, and the celebrations are set to kick off on Thursday, June 27, 2024. The Bingo industry is coming together once again to honor the game and everything that makes it special with a week-long series of exclusive games, events, activities, and promotions.
National Bingo Week and Day Celebrations
Building on the success of the past three years, both retail and online operators will join forces to celebrate National Bingo Day. The festivities will span National Bingo Week from Monday, June 24, to Sunday, June 30, culminating in National Bingo Day on Thursday, June 27. During this week, bingo players can look forward to a variety of exclusive games and promotions in clubs and online. Additionally, players who introduce a friend to bingo during National Bingo Week will receive £10 in discount offers at their venue. Local terms and conditions apply.
Mystery Celebrity Bingo Caller
To make the occasion even more special, a mystery celebrity bingo caller will surprise players at a lucky club by hosting a special bingo game ahead of National Bingo Day. This event follows new research commissioned by The Bingo Association, which highlights the nation's favorite voice traits and accents. According to the research, the Irish accent is Britain's favorite (15%), while warmth (38%) and smoothness (27%) are considered the most attractive voice traits.
Charity Bingo Game for Variety – The Children’s Charity
On Friday, June 28, 2024, bingo clubs across the country will host a charity bingo game in support of The Bingo Association’s charity, Variety – The Children’s Charity. This special game aims to raise over £20,000 for the charity, contributing to the industry's impressive total of £1.8 million in charitable donations since 2015.
