Imagine a world where powerful wins can be achieved not only via the reels but above the reels too – it would be pretty amazing huh. And what if I told you this world existed; would you believe me? Greek Gods is the latest fantasy-filled slot by Pragmatic Play to use a highly sophisticated reel engine with an exclusive offering…
…it’s remarkable stuff and I’m sure you’ll agree when I shortly reveal all.
The ruler of Olympus welcomes you to his palace in the sky where a single spin of the reels can produce magnificent results. There are as many as 243 ways to win in each spin and each of those ways to win can boost your bankroll with wins of as much as 1000x your stake.
If that wasn’t enough to make your hair stand on end, there’s also a series of random awards which are not triggered solely upon the reels via special symbols, instead, they’re awarded above the usual gaming area. So, how does this work exactly? Reels 3, 4, and 5 during the base game will reveal either a cash sum or a bonus option and when a full stack of scatters (lightning) appears directly beneath, you win that cash sum or trigger the bonus game.
I’m All Ears – Tell Me More
Five or more scatters will trigger the bonus spins feature and, on each spin, cash or bonus options will be positioned above all five reels, compared to just three during the base game. Possible awards are a money prize of up to 50x your stake, a bonus which triggers the wheel of fortune mini game (I’ll get into that in a minute) or additional bonus spins.
Wheel of fortune has the potential to boost your bet by as much as 1000x, plus, the multiplier prizes can be won multiple times in a single spin. Greek Gods is a stunning example of Pragmatic’s talent and on a quick glance, the graphics are almost identical to that of the Age of the Gods casino game franchise by Playtech (the likeliness is impressive).
They’re not the first to produce a slot with individual reel features, Microgaming has done it with the elaborate Rabbit in the Hat video slot and even NetEnt has tried their hand at the rewarding system via the innovative Jingle Spin slot. Don’t expect those scatters to land too often though, because they won’t.
Other than the max win of 1000x via the wheel bonus, there’s wins of up to £750 available via the Zeus symbols – it may not seem like much, but there are 243 ways to win, remember that.
Melissa Summerfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Pragmatic Play, said: “Greek Gods is another exciting addition to our ever-growing slot portfolio. With its engaging gameplay and exciting bonus bar, this new title will give players the chance to get wins fit for a God!”

lots with the bonuses above the reels are great, but they also make you want to play more, so be wary of that. One game that I have never even had the chance at landing the bonuses on is the Wolf Ridge game by IGT – I’ve played so many times and still those cash values and bonuses evade me.
