Quickspin Tease of Golden Glyph – The First Reactor and Feature Rich 7x7 Adventure Slot

Gaming news reaching us from Quickspin headquarters reveal there’s a brand-new video slot available and it’s nothing like we’ve seen before. Golden Glyph is the software developers very first reactor game and it’s packed with a feature rich adventure throughout its 7x7 setup.

Ancient Egypt meets classic puzzle games in this unique creation and it’s perfect for mobile gameplay. Features within include a tumble reel engine; where one win delivers additional chances to win in the same spin, a power wild feature and a total of four magical power-ups: golden scarab, eye of Horus, blaze of fire and a bonus spins game.

Powerful Performance

Land a power wild as part of a win and the power-ups will be activated. Watch for the golden scarab as this delightful symbol can spread a wealth of wilds onto the grid – between 4 and 10 to be precise. Eye of Horus will supercharge the reels by removing all low paying symbols from view and transform them to pay outs and blaze of fire will target normal symbols that crosses its path in any row and column to produce wins…

…and last but not least is the bonus spins feature where a sight of the Golden Glyph could result in wins of up to 13,000x your stake!

Stay Tuned

Clint Andersson, producer at Quickspin said on the exclusive upcoming release: “When we started working on Golden Glyph, we wanted to create a game that felt like a classic puzzle or tile-matching game, like ‘Puyo Puyo’ and ‘Bomberman: Panic Bomber’. We also wanted to combine the characteristics of these types of games with the power-up features of classic RPG games, like ‘Golden Axe’ or ‘Gauntlet’, where you get to collect and use power-ups to perform magic.”

He continued: When designing the graphics, the idea was to use small, detailed icons with shields, swords, and armour equipment, but it was a bit tricky to build a menu that could fit all the different icons. Then, during one of the many design iterations, our Lead Artist came up with the idea that the meter should be round…

and this can be quite a difficult format to use in menus, as games are always played on a rectangular screen. But everyone on the team really loved the new meter, so we tried to figure out a way to make it work. That’s when we came up with this large, heavy golden wheel that’s filled with mystical and magical symbols – and this is now one of the best parts of the game. I’m really happy with the result and I think it looks great!”

Golden Glyph is scheduled for release on November 12th. Stay tuned for more information on the slot machine coming in the next few weeks.

Other grid style casino games are available to play already; the video game themed Gemix by Play’N Go and the glittering Royal Gems by Red Tiger Gaming are two popular releases, but Golden Glyph promises to be even more unusual with innovative gameplay.
