Mobile technology has come a long way since I was a teen in the noughties. If you had a Motorola mobile phone with its big antenna you were labeled one of the lucky ones. As the years went on, mobile phones became more sophisticated and this is when we saw the introduction of the Nokia mobile…
…you’d need a case on it just to protect the floor in case you dropped it! The robust handheld device was the platform that mobile games needed, and this is when Snake was introduced to the masses. Gone are the days when we used to have to press number 2 three times, number 8 twice, number 5 three times, number 8 four times and the number 7 three times just to spell ‘cul8r’ (see you later in bingo lingo), nowadays it’s all qwerty keyboards and predictive text.
Feed the Snake Reap the Rewards
Snake was a simple yet fun game to play; direct the snake to the food to earn points. Every snack would see the snake grow longer and you had to manoeuvre the snake around the small screen so as not to bite your own backside. If the snake took a hunch of his own flesh, it was game over.
Thanks to Live 5 Gaming, it has been recreated for mobile bingo lovers but despite modern features and immersive gameplay, it’s every bit as fun as we’d have hoped it would be. The blast from the past boasts neon lights, 3D elements and a 7x7 cascading reel engine, so let’s take a look at what you can expect from such a classic.
Feed Your Gaming Desire
The aim of the game is to wiggle your way through the levels to trigger the snake or bonus spins features. Along the way, the snake could make an appearance and turn non-winning symbols into winning ones. Insane wins of up to 14,000x your stake can be triggered as you play your way through the progressive levels of this fun-filled casino game.
Winning combinations will be removed from the cluster-award gaming screen and placed into the win level meter to the left of the screen, when you land enough consecutive wins (25 or more symbols) to reach a new level, the snake comes into play and starts gathering food just like the retro game.
Each food parcel gobbled up by the ever-growing snake could see it reach 20 spaces long and once it reaches the edge of the grid, the body will convert into the same symbol to produce a win. The longer the snake, the better the wins! Reach the bonus spins level meter and receive 12 bonus spins with an increasing multiplier starting at 3x. The max multiplier available is 14,000x your stake and that is pretty impressive.
Snake is now available to play at Bingo Aliens where there is a welcome bonus of up to 500 bonus spins waiting to welcome new players.

I used to love playing snake! Me and my sisters would have competitions to see who would get the highest score and at the end of the day, our dad beat us all!
