How to Play Blackjack:
Many believe that the main objective in blackjack, is to get as close to 21 without going over – WRONG! The aim of the game is to beat the dealer! The statement is true to some degree; you must not bust (go over 21), must outscore the dealer and get the dealer to bust.
The rules of the game are simple;
- Blackjack is played with one to eight decks of 52-card decks.
- Aces can be counted as either 1 or 11 points. Cards 2 to 9 are face value whilst 10’s and face cards count as 10 points.
- The value of your hand is the total points, so if you have an ace (11) and a jack (10); that’s 21!
- After bets have been placed on the table, the dealer will provide you with two cards and themselves with two cards; one of which is face-up. If the showing card of the dealer is an ace, an insurance side bet will be offered; this pays 2:1 is the other dealer card is any 10-point card. You don’t need to take the side bet.
- Should the dealers face-up card be an ace or a ten, they will peek at the remaining card and turn it over instantly should he have a blackjack. If a blackjack is scored, all bets are lost except insurance. If the player also has a blackjack, it’s known as a push. All bets will be settled at this stage.
It’s not the most complicated of games to play and can be really rather fun. Will you be giving this promotion a shot? Let me know below!

I love roulette, so being able to play live is great! May even give blackjack a try for the first time.
