Unbelievable Gesture of Love

Local media reported on the story where at first, the wife didn’t believe they had won such a vast sum of money. When he eventually told his wife, her reaction wasn’t one of shock, but disbelief. “Aw, you’re lying!” she told him. When the news of the win finally sunk in, to say she was ecstatic was an understatement. Beating odds of 1 in 2,937,600 to win $10million, the pair decided to take the one-time cash option of $6,570,302 before taxes. To get the full $10million, payments would be made in installments over a 30-year period.

This particular scratchcard game had four top prizes of $10million and with Chicas being the fourth time and final winner, the tickets will now be discontinued. The lucky husband bought the ticket in an In & Out Mart in Manassas, Virginia a few days before February 14^th. The store owners will now receive a $50K bonus from the Virginia Lottery for selling the winning ticket.
