Play’n GO are back less than a fortnight after the release of their Coywolf Cash title with something a little cheekier; Leprechaun Goes Wild. The latest addition finds itself added to their popular Leprechaun series of games, taking them to a total of three of Irish-themed slots; Leprechaun Goes to Egypt was released way back in 2013 whilst Leprechaun Goes to Hell came shortly after in 2016.
Sandwiched between the rolling green hills of Ireland is a powerful reel engine boasting 20 fixed win lines. A whole team of feisty and mischievous leprechauns’ team up to bring players big value entertainment.
As the name suggests, there is a big emphasis on wild symbols in this game, with the wily little leprechaun sticking to the reels during the bonus feature for increased luck (and wins) …
…Several games were put before the crowds at ICE London 2020 last week, including this latest casino game. Play’n GO claim the industry’s biggest event was a smash it for them and no wonder when they had Dee Snider, the frontman of the Twisted Sister band pop in for a chin wag.
Rainbow Revolution
CEO, Johan, spoke a little bit about the new game along with the challenges of revisiting characters in slot titles: “Players feel a connection with some of our most beloved characters; Hugo, Rich Wilde and the Leprechaun, so it’s always worth revisiting them to bring a familiar face from a fresh perspective.
It’s important not to rehash the same old scenario in a game; otherwise, there’s no point. We want to make sure we give players more, even when dealing with a character they’re already accustomed to.”
All the classic hallmarks of leprechaun mythology can be found upon the 5x4 slot machine; a pot of gold, a wooden pipe, a top hat, a glass of mead and a lucky horseshoe. Plus, those iconic card values of 10 through to Ace. The final most sought-after symbol is the four-leaf clover.
Four leaf clovers are the key to additional bonuses here, and I wouldn’t expect anything else what with it being called Leprechaun Goes Wild! Two will trigger the luck of the Irish whilst three will take you straight to the bonus spins action. Luck of the Irish is purely a second-chance feature with a re-spin. If you land that third four-leaf clover, it’s onto the free games…
…Five leprechauns wait to pounce onto the reels with an aim of sticking like glue; the more wilds in view, the bigger the potential win. Additional free games can be won during the feature as well as wins of up to 10,000x your stake. You just need to be lucky with your spins.

I’m a huge fan of Play’n Go titles. The bonuses are frequent, and you tend to get regular wins. Still waiting on that life-changing win though.
