One of the biggest progressive jackpot networks is about to get a whole lot bigger. Known for delivering life-changing wins, Microgaming has unveiled plans to release yet another progressive jackpot title – Wheel of Wonder.
The Isle of Man based software provider signed an agreement in 2019 to deliver a growing roster of games, but not their own titles. These online slots would be produced by independent game studios before being be supplied exclusively to Microgaming; and this is one of them.
Developed by Alchemy Studios, Wheel of Wishes is a captivating 5-reel, ten-win line progressive slot with enticing features and potentially life-changing jackpots. When playing, players will be transported to far East where the sands of Arabia cover a hidden fortune. Stunning graphics and impressive audio will draw you in with every spin. Don’t be surprised if you see a lamp on your travels. But whatever you do – don’t rub it!
Untold Riches
Stacked wilds can be found across the entire reel engine and when two or more scatters appear, a Power spin is granted. Reels one and five will be transformed into identical high-paying stacked symbols – you just need that giant 3x3 symbol in the middle to either match or to be a wild.
If you’re lucky enough to witness the giant symbol fall, you will be taken to the Wheel of Wishes jackpot bonus – this guarantees one of the four jackpots…
…mini, minor, major or the newly reformed WowPot with its £2m starting seed.
James Buchanan, Director of Global Operations at Microgaming, said on the upcoming release: “We are delighted to present Alchemy Gaming’s debut title, and the first in a new wave of games to join Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network this year. The addition of Wheel of Wisheswith its revamped WowPot jackpot is sure to set new records, while the introduction of the Power Spins and Power Mode make for a fantastic gameplay experience.”
He continued: “We are pleased to announce that the game’s first Major progressive jackpot win has already been hit during an early release period, with one player winning €131,574.55 and total pay outs across all four jackpots exceeding €1.2 million.”
Rory Harpur, Head of Alchemy Gaming added: “Wheel of Wishes combines superb graphics with intuitive game mechanics. The title’s Power Mode feature transforms the reels into a permanent Power Spin, creating an enhanced opportunity to enter the Jackpot Bonus Wheel and ultimately claim the WowPot jackpot! We are incredibly excited for the wider launch of our debut game with Microgaming and can’t wait for players to take a spin on Wheel of Wishes.”

Progressive jackpot games are superb but can get a little ‘samey’, however this one sounds exciting. I find the progressives with the four pots tend to go more often than those with just the three. Can’t wait to try it.
