One of the most iconic gameshows ever to exist has been immortalised into a brand-new game and what better tribute to the late, Sir Bruce Forsyth, than to see his fun-filled Price is Right back up and running once again, and it has all the feels of the TV classic. I for one couldn’t get enough of this show, which is probably why I still watch it on Challenge TV, strange as it seems, I still get surprised by how generous the show was.
A Trip Down Memory Lane:
Four people from the studio audience are chosen at random. An item is shown to those four. Each has to place a guess and the closest to the actual price (without going over), wins that prize and goes through to a prize round. The prize round features exciting games all based on the cost of items – get the prices right once again and you win even more prizes.
The great thing about this show was that even if you didn’t win the second time, you still stood a chance of winning big in the final ‘Showcase Showdown.’ Cars, luxury holidays, cash, motorbikes, boats, caravans and much, much more were up for grabs in each episode – you don’t get them like this no more.
You, yes you – you’ll need to keep a cool head if you’re to stand any chance of winning a prize, but we’ll walk you through the do’s and don’ts to give you the best possible chance of winning right here.
Come on Down:
Price is Right is the latest Slingo Originals game to touch down at Sundae Bingo and it’s every bit fun as you can imagine. The aim of the game is simple; select your bet from £1 to £100 and receive 5 spins for your chosen stake. Three matching bonus symbols in one spin or five of any symbols across your entire 5 spins, will trigger a bonus. The cliff hanger bonus is the one identical to where you guess the price and for every pound you’re out, the man will move up the mountain side. If he reaches the very end, he falls and you lose, only this time, the hiker will move up to award multipliers. Press collect to gamble for more, but if you reach the end you lose the lot.
Five golden locks awards the mystery master key. Pick the cards (which are face down) until a key is found and once found, the master key is added, Pick from the remaining cards for more keys. Each key will open a lock and award the prize inside.
Plinko consists of cards and chips. Find as many chips as you can from the game to receive higher prizes. One or more chips will see you progress onto the Plinko board where you drop to win the prize stated in the different sections.
Half-off, any number and extra bonus spins are also available in this feature rich creation. You’ll also find a slot game alternative to this by Electracade featuring 5 reels, 25 win lines and lot of studio fun.
