All Spinning and Hopefully Winning!
Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network is generating a lot of interest lately, what with a pot of more than £17m (and growing!) up for grabs, but with five title to choose from, how do you know when and where it will drop? The answer is you don’t – nobody does and that’s what makes these online progressive jackpot games so exciting. The largest ever win on the Mega Moolah jackpot network was €18,915,872.81 and that was back in September 2018. Will the current pot surpass that, or will we see a winner in the next few days?
Five Games, four progressive jackpots and heaps of bonuses and exciting features await, all you need to do is select a stake and hope that the jackpot decides to drop when you’re spinning those reels. Epic wins – life-changing wins come to that, can be won from the smallest of bets with a previous Mega Moolah winner scooping more than £13million from just a 25p bet!
The Games and Features
Play OJO, Leo Vegas, Mr Q and Mr Green are home to Microgaming’s progressive titles, so no need to go searching. The most popular is the original Mega Moolah, the safari-themed video title with a bonus spins feature where all winnings are multiplied by 3x, scatter pays and plenty of wild base game wins. Lion is wild, the red-haired voodoo style character is the scatter, but how do you win the jackpot? Randomly on any spin, the jackpot bonus wheel could drop and if this should happen to you (it’s happened to me!), you’re guaranteed one of four pots. What did I win? The minor pot of £100.
Absolootly Mad Mega Moolah is an Alice in Wonderland style adventure with a mad-hatter character, multipliers, 243 ways to win per spin, wilds, cascading reels, free games and that jackpot bonus. Unlike the safari-themed slot, access to the progressive bonus is awarded when you have a golden teapot full of coins. Each spin could see overlay coin symbols appear and these are then added to the pot.
Atlantean Treasures Mega Moolah is a deep-sea adventure slot with mermaids and a win both ways reel engine. If a special symbol graces reel 2, 3 and/or 4, a mermaid will expand on those reels for re-spin(s) and a shot at huge wild wins. Styled very similar to the previously insane-themed title, this one relies on special overlay symbols too and when the pot is full, the jackpot chance is awarded.
Fortunium has proven to be popular since its launch back in 2018, so Microgaming and Stormcraft Studios decided to up the ante (and the thrills), by introducing a Mega Moolah jackpot element to its reels. Full stacks of golden question marks are the key to the bonus – this is the only way you will reveal the bonus wheel. However, they like to tease and more often than not, they open to reveal a matching symbol which could lead to a large base game win.
Juicy Joker Mega Moolah is the latest instalment to the jackpot series, only, this one doesn’t offer the same guarantees as the four previous games. If you spin in three joker icons, you get a shot at spinning the wheel, but you’re not always guaranteed a win. The bonuswheel is more frequent than you’d expect, but that’s because you may not win anything in exchange from a turn of its brightly coloured segments!

Love playing these games but you need to be lucky beyond lucky to win one!
