Christmas Comes Early for Mecca Players This Year!
Christmas is coming early this year, and I don’t mean three-months early, but a whole 6-months early! For one-night and one-night only, Mecca Bingo are hosting a very unusual ‘bingo-ho-ho’ event to get everyone in a festive mood. On Wednesday 23rd of this month, your first 6-page evening book will cost just 60p, the same price as it was sixty years ago! But don’t panic about the prizes, because those are definitely coming from the 2021 pot!
Get Ahead of the Game
If you’ve not visited a Mecca Bingo club recently, you may not know about the pre-book facility, a system designed to secure you a seat on the day you want to go. You can do this online or by downloading the free ‘my Mecca’ app. From pre-booking and scanning your membership card to ordering food and drinks, this mobile app has the power to do it all, allowing you to sit back and enjoy your bingo games.
A deposit will be taken to secure your booking, which will be credit for you to use in club. Credit can cover ticket purchases – paper or on the digital boards, used to play slots or games plus you can use the credit to purchase food and drink. They recommend booking as with reduced capacity, some people may be refused a seat. You’re also advised to arrive 30-minutes prior to sessions getting underway, to allow time to be seated.
Typical session prices are:
- Afternoon - Sunday to Friday: £15 per person
- Afternoon - Saturday: £20 per person
- Evening - Monday to Thursday: £20 per person
- Evening - Friday to Sunday: £25 per person.

I absolutely love Christmas, but things like this really spoil it. The reason we look forward to it is because it’s but once a year, not twice! Not sure what to think of this to be totally honest.
