Registration
On Wednesday 7th February, our reviewer signed up as a new member at Yay Bingo. Registration requires a mobile phone number – this is in the event of the bingo team needing to contact member. We should note that the sign-up process also requires members to provide an occupation before proceeding.
Once all details were submitted, uluckybuddha (chosen username), read the terms and conditions attached to the welcome offer before heading to the cashier.
The welcome offer promised:
“180 free bingo tickets, 90 on Street Party and 90 on Kaching, plus 20 casino spins (game of their choice). All winnings are credited to real money balance. Casino spins available once £5 of deposit funds are wagered.”
The offer stated:
- Use promo code BASKET with your first deposit
- Choose from slots and bingo
- Have fun!
Initial Deposit
Once card details were added to the bingo account, the tester proceeded to claim the welcome offer. Depositing £150 via Visa Debit, promo code BASKET was redeemed. A few seconds later the funds were in her account.
Gameplay
After wagering some of her own funds on bingo games, uluckybuddha decided to check in on her welcome offer. The message on screen said “only 10p bet left to unlock your games vouchers”. With this in mind an additional bingo ticket was purchased in the Wonky Bingo room.
Sadly, no bingo ticket or casino spins were credited. More on this a little later.
Yay Bingo has a huge selection of slots to play alongside bingo games, including Slingo. Known as “side games”, members can either play in zoom mode – this option covers bingo tickets, or in mini mode in the upper right of the screen.
Highlights of the bingo rooms are:
- Easy Peasy 75-ball from 5p a ticket
- Wonky (75 ball) paying a minimum of £10
- Flip It (90-ball) with a prize pot of £35
- Hit 52 (card-based bingo) from 5p a ticket
- Street Party room for members with free tickets only. Play for free and win real cash!
- Mystery Jackpots where you can win a jackpot of up to £500 in every game
- Win casino spins in the Gobsmacked room – all prizes paid as cash
- Free bingo. Win £4, £10, £20 and £1K across four exciting free bingo rooms
- Loyalty bingo rooms deliver cash prizes of up to £250 too!
Requesting a Withdrawal
On February 7th, a withdrawal was made for £75.58p. In order to request a withdrawal, members must head to the “deposit” button and navigate to the left-hand menu to find the cash out option.
The withdrawal took 24-hours to process, landing in her Visa Debit account the following day on February 8th.
How Does Yay Bingo Stack Up?
A couple of advantages to Yay Bing include no wagering requirements and our reviewer didn’t need to add any KYC in order to make a withdrawal. The cashout process took just 24-hours to complete. The games are great – even if the bingo rooms are a little quiet, but the less players in them, the more chance you have of winning!
Now for the negatives. Firstly the welcome offer was not credited. Upon further inspection of the terms and conditions, it does state the offer is only available until 31.12.2020.
If this is the case then surely Yay Bingo should remove the offer? If the promotion was no longer available why did the games lobby have “only £5 bet left to unlock your games vouchers” message?
On February 7th, uluckybuddha sent a message to the help team via the only contact option available – the contact form.
A generic “thanks for contacting us” reply was received from Red Bus Bingo. As of the date of this report, our tester has NOT received a reply from support in relation to the welcome offer. However, the expired promotion has since been removed.
This information concludes this extensive test as part of the project From the Players, For the Players. We hope this report provided some useful information for players considering Yay Bingo.
